Installation of the VERTEX 80v FT-IR vacuum spectrometer at the IHP - Leibniz-Institute for Innovative Microelectronics, Frankfurt/Oder, Germany
Bruker Optics successfully finalized the installation of a VERTEX 80v research FT-IR vacuum spectrometer with outstanding specifications. In the installed configuration the spectrometer covers an extremely broad spectral range from the far infrared to the visible corresponding to almost 3 orders of magnitude on the wavelength scale and could in future even be extended to the UV. The VERTEX 80v achieves a spectral resolution of 0.06 cm-1 (~7 µeV) respectively a resolving power better than 300,000:1 in the visible and UV spectral range. Find here more information.
