This time, it's not the road that matters

It's the footprint you leave behind...

Before we begin, we would like to announce

Last Week’s Winner

Eric Boily
Your destination choice led the way, and now you’ll wear the gear that carries us all forward. Congratulations! Your Kalmar merch will soon be on its way

We don’t just pass through the wild. We protect it.

At Kalmar Beyond Adventure, we believe in something deeper than distance.

We’ve chased horizons, crossed continents, and carved routes that very few have dared to trace. But we’ve also paused. To notice. To support. To protect the places we’re privileged to explore.

Over the past years, many of our trips – quietly and consistently – have helped fund the protection of endangered species. From elephant patrols to rhino rehabilitation, your journeys have made a difference. You just didn’t know it. We’ve worked hand-in-hand with Annette Oelofse from the Mount Etjo team and her family to help safeguard the wild.

And now, we’re inviting you to step into that world.

Your chance to make a difference and experience something other people never will….

Introducing:

This is not a standard Beyond Adventure.
There are no Porsches waiting at the border.
There is no rush to reach the next checkpoint.

This time, we trade speed for depth…roads for a purpose.

Mount Etjo Special is a ten-day, one-of-a-kind immersion into wildlife conservation and a real African connection.

You’ll assist in hands-on animal protection, explore Namibia’s vast wilderness by foot, air, and 4×4, and gain access to people and places no itinerary can ever replicate.

This is not something you can Google or book. It’s been created entirely through personal relationships – and you’re being invited to be part of it.

Highlights

• Assist wildlife vets as they dart and treat animals from helicopters
• Track rhinos on foot with armed rangers
• Sleep out in the bush with anti-poaching teams
• Feed orphaned rhinos and learn their stories
• Visit the Mount Etjo school and share stories with local students
Earn your 4×4 Mount Etjo driving certificate
• Walk with elephants and dine at sunset while lions roar nearby
• Stay in a private wilderness lodge with only a handful of guests

This is an adventure. Not just for thrill. For meaning.

This is Beyond Adventure at its most human.

Not chasing the horizon. But choosing to stay. To stand still. To do something that matters.

Thank you for being part of this. See you in the wild.
