Kofill Joins Partner Network of Beta Systems DCI Software AG in South-East Asia

Beta Systems DCI Software AG is stepping up its development of the Asian-Pacific market by forging a sales partnership with Hong Kong-based Kofill Limited. After signing a sales agreement with the Japanese SoftPlex, Inc. in January 2017, this marks Beta Systems’ second cooperative venture in the SEA region this year.

Kofill specializes in data management and protection solutions for the mainframe world. With subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, the company not only covers the entire Chinese market (People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong) but also five other key countries in the region: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. Kofill serves customers from the public and private sectors, including governmental agencies in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, financial companies such as HSBC, Standard Chartered, ABN Amro and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as well as leading industrial corporations including VISA International, Manulife Insurance and Malaysia Airlines.
KOFILL Managing Director Anna So comments on the new partnership: “Businesses in East Asia employ cutting-edge software, but their patronage comes with the expectation of a very high level of service. As regards processing large data volumes on the mainframe, only very few companies can match the expertise of Beta Systems DCI Software AG. Adding the DCI portfolio to our own product and service range allows us to offer mainframe users a package that combines leading technology and service excellence.”

Walter Teichert, Director International Sales at Beta Systems DCI Software AG, adds: “Kofill is the perfect partner to help us continue our expansion in the East Asia region. The company has a deep technology expertise built over many decades and direct communication channels to the customers’ decision-makers.” Kofill is highly experienced in adapting complex technologies to local requirements – both for the region as a whole and the individual country-specific markets.
